This has actually worked well for me on batteries that some of my more expensive chargers were not as good at charging. I'm not an expert, but I have so far really appreciated the easy of use and reliability that this has offered. It's not going to charge anything fast, but it's good to provide a gentle charge or to help a really low battery recover.
